X-H1: Steve Christo x Gymnastics -Proud of-

Sydney Technical Collegeで写真を学び、1987年にSydney Morning Heraldで時事やスポーツ、特集をカバーする写真家としてキャリアをスタート。1994年にはスポーツ専門となり、シドニーやアテネ、北京、ロンドンで開催されたオリンピックをカバー。南アフリカで開催されたW杯などその他多数のスポーツイベントをカバーした経歴を持つ。1993 IOC Gold Lens、POYi Awards of Excellence、2008 Sony International Photography Award’s second prize in Sports、World Press Photo Third Prize for Sports Actionを2007年と2011年をはじめとして数多くの賞を獲得。2009年には、Panpa AwardsのSports Photographer of the Yearに選出されている。
2012年に25年間務めたSydney Morning Heraldを退社。フリーランスとなった。それからの4年間、Destination NSW、Sydney FC、Wanderers FC、ABC、AP、Reuters、University of NSW、Jaguar、Audi Australia、Commonwealth Bank、NSW Cricket、Swimming Australia、World Sports Group、Asia Cup Federation、Red Bullなど多くのクライアントの仕事をこなしている。
