Permanent fix firmware Ver. 1.32 for a problem that occurred with the Ver. 1.30 firmware update is now available.

Emergency countermeasure firmware ”Ver.1.31” is now available.

In Ver. 1.30 released on January 22, 2024, it was confirmed that the exposure of images taken with certain focal length and aperture value combinations became abnormal.
For this reason, the firmware download has been suspended.
We are preparing an emergency firmware for customers who have updated to Ver. 1.30, so please wait for it.

- Windows(Internet Explorer／FireFox／Google Chrome)の場合はCtrlキーを押しながらF5キーを押します。
- Mac（Safari／Google Chrome）の場合は「Command」キーと「R」キーを同時に押します。
- Mac（FireFox）の場合は「Command」キー・「Shift」キー・「R」キーの3つを同時に押します。
すでに最新バージョンの場合には、ファームウエアの更新を行う必要はありません。

ファームウエア更新内容
Ver.1.32
The firmware update Ver.1.32 from Ver.1.31 incorporates the following issue:
The following bugs that were confirmed with the Ver. 1.30 firmware update have been fixed.
The bug was that the image taken becomes abnormal exposure depending on the combination of the focal length and aperture value.
Note: “Improved exposure tracking during zoom operation” that was implemented with Ver. 1.30 is also included with this revised version. Make sure to update the camera’s firmware to the latest version to enable this improvement.

Ver.1.31
The firmware update Ver.1.31 from Ver.1.30 incorporates the following issue:
We have found some malfunctions (Phenomenon in which the exposure of a captured image becomes abnormal in combination with a certain focal length and aperture value) in the firmware Ver. 1.30 released on 22 Jan 2024.
Customers who have updated to Ver.1.30 should update to Ver.1.31.
If you update to Ver.1.31, the functions will be the same as Ver.1.20 and the following functions (*) added in Ver.1.30 will no longer be available.

Ver.1.30
The firmware update Ver.1.30 from Ver.1.20 incorporates the following issue:
Exposure tracking during zoom operation is improved when using the following cameras.

X-H2S (Ver.5.10 or later), X-H2 (Ver.3.10 or later), X-T5 (Ver.2.10 or later), X-T4 (Ver.2.10 or later), X-T3 (Ver.5.10 or later), X-S20 (Ver.1.20 or later) and X-S10 (Ver.3.10 or later)
Note:Make sure to update the camera’s firmware to the latest version before updating the firmware of the interchangeable lens to enable those functions above.
Ver.1.20
The firmware update Ver.1.20 from Ver.1.12 incorporates the following issues:
Aperture control parameters have been optimized to improve exposure tracking during movie taking.
Focusing motor noise variation during movie taking has been stabilized.
Focus tracking at zooming operation has been improved during movie taking.
Note
This enhancement No.3 requires the following cameras with latest firmware versions. Please make sure to upgrade camera firmware to the latest version before upgrading the lens firmware.

Ver.1.12
The firmware update Ver.1.12 from Ver.1.11 incorporates the following issues:
Improvement of tracking function of parallax correction in the OVF
The tracking function of parallax correction in the OVF is improved.
*Upgrade the firmware of X-Pro1 and X-Pro2 before the firmware of the lenses is upgraded.
Improvement of the chromatic aberration compensation
Chromatic aberration compensation in wide-angle area is improved.
Ver.1.11
The firmware update Ver.1.11 from Ver.1.10 incorporates the following issue:
The firmware Ver.1.11 resolves the issue which may result in a failure if the upgrade is conducted with a camera whose firmware is the previous version.
Ver.1.10
The firmware update Ver.1.10 from Ver.1.00 incorporates the following issue:
The accuracy of Manual focus adjustment will be enhanced when using one with cameras below.
X-E1 / X-E2 / X-E2S / X-Pro1 / X-Pro2 / X-T1 / X-T10
It is necessary to upgrade the firmware of cameras above at the same time.
*The firmware upgrade of the lenses should be conducted after the upgrade of camera’s firmware upgrade.
ファームウエア更新手順
- ファームウエアのバージョンを確認する。
- フォーマット済みのメモリーカードを用意する。
- ファームウエア(圧縮ファイル)をダウンロードして解凍する。
- 解凍したファームウエアをメモリーカードに保存する。
- ファームウエアが記録されたメモリーカードをカメラに入れてファームウエアの更新作業をする。
ご注意
ファームウエアの更新に失敗すると、カメラが正常に動作しなくなる場合があります。以下の点を必ず守ってください。
- ファームウエアの更新作業には、十分に充電したバッテリーをご使用ください。万一、ファームウエア書き換え中にカメラの電源が切れると、カメラが動作できない状態に陥ります。
- ご使用のファームウエアが古いバージョンの場合でも直接最新バージョンにアップデートが行えます。
- ファームウエアの更新時間は、ファームウエアの容量によって変わります。最大約5分掛かる場合があります。更新中は、絶対に電源を切ったり、カメラを操作したりしないでください。
- ファームウエア更新後は、更新前のバージョンには戻すことができません。
- ファームウエアの更新中にエラーメッセージが表示された場合は、下記をご覧ください。

ご注意
- ダウンロード先に同名のファイルが無いことをご確認ください。同名のファイルがあると、ご使用のブラウザによっては、ファイル名称の末尾に“(1)”などの枝番が付く場合があります。枝番の付いたファイル名称でファームウエアの更新を行うとカメラが正しく認識できません。
- ZIPファイルを解凍し、展開された全てのファイルをSDカードにコピーしてファームエア更新作業を行ってください。
