Bertram Solcher (Germany)

Bertram Solcher is a German photojournalist and corporate photographer. Already during his studies in human medicine he worked for newspapers, national and international magazines. His specialty is images from the fields of medicine and health economics. His trademark is the authentic representation of complex processes.

When not in hospitals, he tries to capture life on the streets. You will rarely find pictures without people. Bertram Solcher lives with wife, daughter and dogs in Hamburg, Germany

With the Fujifilm X series cameras I found what I was looking for since the beginning of the digital era. Cameras built for photographers and not for computer specialists. Cameras that do not look as if you have a black brick in front of your face. Cameras with which one does not scare his protagonists.

My Fujifilm equipment is ideal for me to be able to photograph unobtrusively, without making any qualitative compromises. Especially the X-Pro2 is like a good friend for me: It is there when you need it. The camera forgives sometimes a mistake and it always asks to search the even better picture
