Derrick Ong, an X-Photographer with over ten years of expertise in the field, is delighted to introduce everyone to the world of photography and how it connects with mathematics.

Photography is an art form that allows us to capture moments, emotions, and memories. However, behind the scenes, there is a lot of math involved in creating a beautiful image.

One of the most important aspects of photography is understanding light. Light behaves in a very mathematical way, and understanding how it interacts with your camera can greatly improve your photographs.

Another important aspect of photography is composition. Composition is how you arrange the elements within your photograph to create a pleasing and balanced image.

The Rule of Thirds, which is a basic principle of composition, involves dividing your image into thirds both horizontally and vertically, and placing your subject at the intersection points. This creates a sense of balance and harmony in your image.

In addition to light and composition, there are many other mathematical concepts that are important in photography. For example, exposure is determined by three factors: aperture, shutter speed, and ISO. These three factors work together to create a proper exposure for your image.

In conclusion, photography is an art form that is deeply rooted in mathematics. By understanding the mathematical concepts behind photography, you can improve your skills and create beautiful images.
