Different Breed: Sonia Ziegler x X-Pro3

Sonia Ziegler

If you happen to see a young girl in a yoga pose, energized from a green smoothie, with a camera in one hand, and a passport in the other, it is possibly me.
After having developed a huge fascination for the art of photography, during my time in High School, I realized that I had a new way to express myself and to expand my creativity. When I was 17, I bought my first camera, that happened to be a FUJIFILM X-Pro1, and today it seems like that particular purchase was meant to be. Ever since, I have shot photos of anything that caught my eye, but I have mainly done projects involving people. I care deeply for the planet we live on, and especially for all its inhabitants I am sharing it with. It constantly amazes me to experience the differences in cultures, looks and lifestyles of the many people across the Globe. I do many types of photography, but taking portraits of people who stand out of the crowd, from all corners of this marvelous world, is something that truly excites me.
Traveling has always been a big part of my life, and it has a profound impact on not only my photography, but on myself as a human being. Full of joy, loaded with fascination and charged with curiosity, I am in the process of creating a life I will live to the fullest.
