When was the time that I started to feel that I could not function without a camera in my everyday life?

Before I could think of anything else, I found myself always carrying a FUJIFILM camera in my bag, second to my wallet and house keys. It had become my buddy on the go.
The X-T5 was handed to me saying, ” Take pictures in your own way,” which made me feel nostalgic even though we had never met before.
I think it was because everything was so like my beloved X-T3, from the dials for adding my taste to the photos, the grip that felt so comfortable in my hand, and even the look of the camera itself.

When I asked whether it was okay if my picture looked plain, I was relieved to see the cheerful smile on its face that said, “that is what makes it good,” and this time I really did release the shutter as usual without any hesitation.

My close friends,
the cobwebs I saw during my walk,
the shape of the waves, the color of the sky.
The shadows, the light, the greenery.
I carefully scoop up and capture every emotion I felt.

A flower blooming quietly in the shade of a roadside tree. It seemed to sway peacefully in the wind.

After taking a couple of shots, I was amazed by the beauty of the world through the viewfinder. I had heard that the resolution of the sensor has improved, but I was surprised that I could sense it so well.

The battery life, which I had been concerned about and checked many times before when shooting, now is more than enough.
I can go out for a long trip comfortably with light luggage and can concentrate on my photography.

My heart trembled when I saw the world filtered by my favorite film simulation “Classic Chrome”, that tinted the world with the colors I had hoped for. I found myself releasing the shutter like crazy.

“Nostalgic Negative”, a new filter for the X-T series, also creates a beautiful world that makes me think about cheating on the Classic Monochrome filter. The filter also allows me to set aside areas where I would have liked a little more saturation.
I was able to take a few favorite photos, but in the end, I kept coming back to classic monochrome, perhaps because I’m stubborn, or because we have become such good friends.

Good morning, world. A quiet morning hour after the festival is over.

Photography was a culture that existed at the time I was born, and anyone had the option to easily take pictures of things. Touching the X-T5 makes me feel grateful again for such things.

For me, the X-T5 is a means of interacting with nature and rediscovering the love of ordinary life, and perhaps it is a tool for remembering that we live on this earth, and that each day is not a matter of course, but a series of miracles.
