For several years now working with the FUJIFILM cameras of the X-T series has been an inspiration. Right from the start, I was surprised that a manufacturer of a camera had managed to create a camera that perfectly managed my way of work. In my point of view, FUJIIFLM has yet made another big step with the X-T4, offering the highest quality in photo and video.
Interestingly enough the X-T4 is a perfect mirror of what is expected from me as an outdoor photographer and videographer in my work environment. For the images, the X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor with 26.1 megapixel on an APS-C format delivers an incredibly multi layered, almost three dimensional and dynamic-looking source material.
In video I see a big progress in the fact that I can internally record in codec 4:2:0 10bit. Brilliant as well is the internal stabilisation. This is another good point for the camera as I often do not have the time or possibility to put the camera on a gimbal.
In landscape as well as in action photography the X-T4 perfectly manages all my demands. The clearly visible and easily adjustable wheels on the topside of the camera enabled me to quickly switch exposure time or ISO level, equally fast I can change the aperture or switch from photo to video. Especially in filming, I have noticed that the autofocus has made significant progress. The bright and distinctive picture in the viewfinder as well as on the display supports my creativity in the best way.
My conclusion is quite simple: to me the X-T4 is the best working tool I can ask for!
