Dieter Hirt (Germany)

Dieter Hirt, who was born in 1970, focuses primarily on photographing individuals in on location themes such as street, fashion, beauty and intimates. For his work, he travels to the most extraordinary destinations, including chateaus, airport hangars or magnificent metropolises where he will find thousands of cool corners to capture scenarios with his lens. Hirt has been working with renowned agencies for several years now. He shares his comprehensive know-how in workshops and at events. He can be described as highly interesting as well as amusing – after all, Hirt has a lot of stories to tell. Let’s not forget that he was one of the co-organisers of the “Strange Noise Festival” open air event of cult acclaim. Moreover, he also launched the first CD-ROM version of the Bible in German for normal users. Hirt is also known as one of the co-creators of the Antigotchi character – the iconoclast to the Tamagotchi “invasion” from Taiwan. In other words, the motorcycle enthusiast leads a very colourful life – and this spectrum is also evident in Dieter Hirt’s photography.

Testemunhos

These days I handle most of my assignments with the X-Series by FUJIFILM. What is important to me is the clear operating concept that allows me to use the key functions blindly. It has become an indispensible tool at weddings and when I shoot for reports – it is simply a great tool for my work. The X-Series has now also found its way into my studio and I rely on it when I’m on location. The cameras stay discretely in the background during such assignments. The mechanical quality and haptics have attained a supreme level.
