George Wong (Hong Kong)

George Wong is a flautist player, teaching and performing from time to time. He is also a professional photographer with special focus on concert shootings.
Working as an art administrator for nearly 30 years, George had developed immense interests in both performing and visual arts. He got lots of chance in close connection with world top artists and musicians. Soon after his early retirement in 2009, he further his study in learning and teaching flute. At the same time, he took up photography as second interest. Very soon his knowledge and skill on photography has greatly improved. He started using camera to capture the momentum and the musical expression of musicians. With his strong sensational on music, George is passionate on shooting performances. His photos have impressed many musicians, music lovers and friends.
In order not to disturb the performers on stage and the audience, George mainly use Fujifilm’s X Series mirrorless cameras and lens, not only can it give amazing pictures but the complete silence shutter sound did a good job.
As a musician and a photographer, George takes picture differently.
