X-H1: Martin Farkas&Martin Kopec x Wildlife -Proud of-

My name is Martin Farkas, wildlife and commercial photographer.

I've been photographing since 2007 and like most of us, at first I've been shooting everything that came up in front of my lens. Later, I fell in love with wildlife photography. Waiting for the good light, watching what I can not influence and try to capture the right moment ... Every trip to nature is a great challenge.

In addition to wildlife, I am also interested in commercial, mostly reportage and wedding photography. Although these does not seem to be compatible at all, these genres have many in common. Being constantly in the wake, respond quickly and press the shutter at the decisive moment. That's what the Fujifilm X system is helping me with.

I have been photographing for 8 years now. I decided to move to Fujifilm in 2014 because I wanted something smaller, lighter, something that gets me closer to the people.

Most of all, I am reportage wedding photographer and I like to re-tell the story in pictures. My goal is to present to newlyweds more than just beautiful portraits. I want to give them unique memory of ‘’the day’’so even after a couple of years, they can look at them and have a good laugh.

Besides weddings, I am also interested in photographing corporate events, corporate presentations, interiors and families. I try to use natural light in combination with prime lenses as much as I can. If I could choose one thing that I really love, it would be taking photos with XF56mmF1.2 even for landscape photography. It is by far my favorite lens that I’ve had the opportunity to use.

In addition to photography, I also make commercial videos for social networks and corporate videos.
