Habib’s latest project is Eye on Iraq, a series of photos which reflect the realities of daily life in the Iraqi region of Mesopotamia. He uses his camera to tell the stories of street life in Baghdad and other places, showing old scenes to new eyes. Due to critical circumstances in Iraq, Maan was not able to shoot in all locations. Even so, Eye on Iraq was accomplished in stages in order to visit the most cities and provinces possible and to present images of Iraqi life and society in a unique way.
