Jie W. Kusumo is known as a prolific food photographer in Indonesia under his brand ‘INIJIE Studio’. Jie started as a food reviewer in 2008 and progressed to focus on food visual aesthetic since 2010. He believes that food has a ‘soul’ that can be captured with a camera as a piece of art.

In 2011, Jie became a full time food photographer. Since then, he has worked with numerous local, national and international brands such as: Unilever, Nestle, Indofood, Rotiboy, Shangri-la Hotel, Hotel Indonesia and several unicorn start-ups like Grab and Traveloka.

2014 was a memorable year between Jie and his first Fujifilm camera: The X-M1. Compact and affordable, yet a powerful one. The rest is history. Fujifilm has become an irreplaceable essential in his photography workflow.
