Roach Liu
My name is Roach Liu, I am citizen of Taiwan, R.O.C. Photography has become my hobby for 6 years. At the beginning, I only took photos for my family and friends. Then I discovered that there are many wonderful and lovely insects or birds in Taiwan. Every time I shoot pictures for them, I find it is very cool.
Photography area has a lot of professional knowledge. I like to spend a lot of time studying on how to shoot the object I want to feel about. I like to record every moment through the camera.
I believe firmly "Each course is the only way for life; each journey is cumulative", let me maintain this interest in photography to this day.
I’m Roach Liu, a graphic designer. Photography is my hobby. I have over 7 years experiences in various kinds such as Macro, Landscape, Portrait, and Documentary photography. Each of them has different way to enjoy. And my favorite one is Ecological Macro Photography.
While shooting Macro photography, I often need to use the viewfinder to keep my position more stable. Therefore, I prefer to use X-T series camera body.
Though X-T200 is an entry model for the X-T series, its basic hardware like resolution, film, focus points, etc, has improved a lot compared with other entry models.X-T200 also increased many filters like fisheye to create more fun for photos.
During the test period, I only used X-T200 with XF80mmF2.8 to shoot the photos.
In the beginning, I worried if the camera would be lopsided.
After I used X-T200, I found the X-T200 body has a shoving handgrip, which enables stable holding for a long time. 425 Focus points can help to frame, and the lever on the back of the camera body makes the operation easier.
By using XF80mmF2.8, if the environment is light sufficient, the focus speed is quite enough to shoot the Macro theme easily. I personally think the shooting is smoothly, and you can use a sensitive touch screen and flip the LCD to take photos which need difficult shooting angles. I recommend X-T200 to Macro photography lovers who are also seeking for a light camera body.
