Pilar Campos (Mexico)

Documentary photographer graduated from the Bachelor of Visual Arts (Autonomous University of the State of Morelos, 2005 – 2009), whose work focuses on the revision of the aesthetic links between the historical, sociological and cultural elements that permeate a certain reality and that, in that sense, they essentially define both the generation of fixed documentary images, and the contextual relationships of our advancements as as society. Her work has been recognized not only by the top cultural government agencies in Mexico, but her passion has drive her to be positioned awarded as one of the top wedding photographers in her native country.

For more than 13 years, Pilar has collaborated constantly in the development of local communities with artistic visual projects, that where published national and international media, since 2008. She has also developed public image campaigns and constantly collaborates with artists from different disciplines in the visual documentation of his work. Pilar is the Founder and Executive Director of the Pilar Campos Documentary & Photo Studio firm, for more than 10 years. She has been awarded the “Aservo Historico” INBA Mexican Revolution and “Young Creation Found” FONCA 2010.
