Gathot Subroto (Indonesia)

Learned photography by himself since Junior High School with Fujica M-1, then he bought SLR Camera when studying in Senior High School, 1987. The first time he was interested in photography after graduated Senior High School when he learned how to process black/white film from Mr. Purnomo, a specialist for express photo service in Wonosari Bus Station, Gunung Kidul – Central of Java. He learned photography by reading a book from Pr. Dr. R.M. Soelarko, Foto Indonesia Magazine (which only printed 3 edition), and Fotomedia Magazine (which was published without a routine schedule). With his interest in photography, he few times studied in College Journalistic Workshop in Jakarta.

He joined with X-Photographer (Official Photographer of Fujifilm) Indonesia in 2011. The activity right now besides work as a trainer in General Finance Education & Training Center, Ministry of Finance of The Republic of Indonesia becomes a photography teacher in some Photo Course. He is also offered to be a mentor in many Photography Course and Workshop, Mentoring for Photo Hunting, and also building his website : www.gathotsubroto.com to share the photo and become an online stock photo for any purpose. He also designs a studio in his house for studio photography for Bintaro and Serpong photography enthusiast and become a class for Private Weekend Private Photography Course.
