Taichi Imai (Japan)

Taichi Imai graduated from Tokyo Visual Arts College, and moved to the United States of America in 2005, where he would go on to graduate from Parsons School of Design in New York City. He worked as an assistant for still-life photographer Shu Akashi in NY. After completion of this work he began his independent photography career in NYC. In 2011 he moved to Japan and became an assistant for beauty photographer Masamitsu Tomita. In 2013 he started working as a freelance photographer in Japan. He was elected as a New Generation Photographer in 2014 by Commercial Photo Magazine. In 2018 he became a photographer for LUMO management.
He specializes in the clean and sharp images of beauty, fashion, and still-life photography.
