Scott Grant(Canada)

Born in small town Newfoundland Scott's had an affinity with the natural world since childhood. It wasn't until 2003 did he discover just how much he enjoyed photographing and nature offered his favourite subjects including birds, wildlife, and landscapes.

Just a year after his daughter was born in 2009 he decided to leave his job as the GM of an auto dealership to pursue what he loved most in life. The career choice hasn't been without it's challenges but it's one he hasn't regretted and feels privileged daily to have been able to make the move to full time photography.

You could describe his style as photojournalistic as he love to photograph how events unfold naturally, however he also enjoys the challenge of setups and off camera lighting. Scott enjoys and uses several photographic mediums including digital, 35mm, medium format and instant film.
