Eduardo Asenjo Matus, Street photographer based in Valdivia, Chile.

In the middle of the tumult and of what happens in avenues of different dimensions he found a new way of seeing reality, that which is, to some extent elusive through sounds, but which is sharpended through an analytical look that looks for individualities in the midst of crowds, In 2015 he began his career in photography independently, after having studied Architecture and Graphic Design. To date he has professionalized his option, making room for various publications, galleries, and platforms, thanks to a particular style called “Th sound of silence”. It is one where human figures remain motionless amidst blurred tumults, as an analogy to the noise surrounding the sounds that are really worth hearing. The black and white records and this particular way of capturing the environment has as much to do with the technique, as with the sensibility of the author who discovered in the photograph a vehicle to comunícate the world from its own limitations.

With this proposal, he has made exhibitions in Spain, Ecuador, India, and Chile. He also adds publications in Germany, Bulgaria, United States, Pakistan, Thailand, Iran, Russia, China, Grece, Taiwan, Netherlands, Argentina, Spain, Ecuador, India, Poland Perú, Brazil, Portugal, France, and Italy.
