Laith Al-Majali (Jordan)

Laith Al-Majali is first and foremost a visual storyteller. Born and raised in Amman, Jordan with a communications degree from Elon University in North Carolina (USA). Majali was the Producer and editor of the 2008 Sundance Audience Award winning film , "Captain Abu Raed," and has become a driving force within the Arab world's emerging new photographic movement having snapped for Rolling Stones, Frank 151, Nox Mag, Jo, Skin and various regional and international magazines, his work has also been featured in David Alan Harvey's Burn Magazine. Over the past 5 years Majali has been photographing the rise of Arab hip-hop for an up-coming book release.
