CEPA

A thriving nucleus of contemporary visual art, located in the heart of downtown Buffalo

A world-renowned arts center and incubator of artistic creation, CEPA fosters the exploration of photography and contemporary visual arts through its exhibition and arts education programs, nurturing creativity, and encouraging active learning. A sprawling artistic haven, the space comprises three galleries of changing exhibits and events, multimedia public art installations, arts education programs, and an open-access darkroom and digital photo lab, playing host to a broad array of artistic pursuits.

Located in Buffalo’s historic Market Arcade Complex, the non-profit contemporary photography & visual arts center impacts both local and national communities. CEPA continues to be globally recognized for creating spaces and programs that drive engagement with art as an essential facet of life and community.

Dedicating its resources to various artistic programs and initiatives, the center paired up with Fujifilm in Spring 2021.
