FAQ about FUJIFILM Professional Service (FPS)

About us

FPS; Fujifilm Professional Service is an exclusive membership service designed solely for Singaporeans and Permanent Residents who are full-time professional photographers and are using Fujifilm professional equipment.

A qualified member can enjoy a range of benefits which covers from sensor cleaning to priority repair services, discount on workshops and many other exclusive privileges.

Requirements

  • Applicant must be minimum at the age of 18 years old or older.

  • Applicant must be a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident with proof of residential address.

  • Applicant must be a Professional Photographer, which is defined as a full-time, self-employed individual, or an Employee of a professional imaging business with proof of accreditation or a company letter – Freelancers without a registered company does not qualify.

  • Applicant must own at least:

    1) TWO (2) units of FUJIFILM Professional camera
    (Range from GFX series “GFX50s, GFX50R & GFX100” to Professional X series “X-H1, X-T4, X-T3, X-T2, X-PRO3, X-PRO2,X-S10”)

    2) TWO (2) units of FUJIFILM Prime lens
    (Range from GF to XF lens) – [XC lens are not accepted]

    3) TWO (2) units of FUJIFILM Zoom lens
    (Range from GF to XF lens) – [XC lens are not accepted]

FAQ about FUJIFILM Professional Service (FPS)

1. How long will it take for my FPS application to be processed?
FPS membership will be processed and the membership card will be mailed to your registered residential address within ONE (1) calendar month from the date your application. We seek your understanding that for those applicants that do not meet the requirements or do not submit ALL of the required documents may not have their applications being approved. Result of your application will be notified via email.

2. What is the validity of my FPS membership?
Upon each successful application or renewal, FPS membership term will be valid for ONE (1) year from the Month of approval by FUJIFILM Singapore.

3. How can I renew my FPS membership?
30 days prior to your FPS membership expiry, a renewal notice email will be automatically sent to you. Once your renewal is complete, you will receive a new FPS Membership Card. 

4. Is there any grace period after my FPS membership expired?
No, there is no grace period given and your membership expires on the expiration date stated on your FPS member card.

5. What is included in the complimentary camera / lens servicing?
 – This service includes and is restricted to exterior cleaning, function check, and standard calibration.
– There will be charges if servicing is required for defects and physical damages due to fungus, wear and tear, corrosion and if dirt, stain, and fungus cannot be removed by normal service cleaning.
– There will also be charges for other services or spare parts replacement.
– Complimentary servicing is only applicable to the registered equipments on the FPS membership.
– This service is not transferable, and non-exchangeable to cash, nor refundable if expired.
– Any remaining or unused sessions will be forfeited and cannot be carried forward.

6. How long will it takes for the complimentary sensor cleaning service?
– Job will be done within the same day and is only applicable when you send in directly to the FUJIFILM Service Centre.
– There will be charges for Parts replacement if dirt, stain or fungus cannot be removed by normal service cleaning. As such, longer turnaround time is to be expected.
– Complimentary sensor cleaning is only applicable to the registered equipment on the FPS membership.
– This service is not transferable, and non-exchangeable to cash nor refundable if expired.
– Any remaining or unused sessions will be forfeited and cannot be carried forward.

7. How do I qualify for loan back-up equipment?  
Loaning of backup equipment is only applicable for FPS members and it is based on a first come first serve basis. Loaning of backup equipment is also subjected to equipment availability.

8. What is the loan duration for the back-up equipment?
Duration of each loan depends on the estimated repair duration advised by the FUJIFILM service centre. If your equipment is still under repair, we would like you to keep the equipment until your repairs are completed and returned to you. It is important to note that any delay in the return of our loan equipment will affect the next member who may need a loan service. In such cases, FPS member may be barred from the next back up loan service if necessary.

9.Where can I request for loan back-up equipments?

10. What types of equipment are available to loan?
The equipment models available for loan will depend on the availability of the equipment. Please check with our service staff when you send in your equipment.

11. How long is the trial duration?
You may loan for free just once for every camera or lens and returnable within the same day. The trial requests must be made FOUR (4) working days in advance, and the successful requests will be notified via email.

12. How many equipment can I loan each time?
Each FPS member is allowed to loan ONE (1) camera and ONE (1) lens for each trial request, and its subject to availability. A maximum in a total of SIX (6) equipment can be trial by each member per membership year.

13. Can I loan the same equipment more than once?
No, as this is a value-added scheme that provides you an opportunity for evaluation trial purposes only. Hence, you are not allowed to loan the same equipment more than once.

14. Any charges if I overdue my loan of equipment?
Late return beyond the stipulated due date will cause the FPS member being barred from future trial requests. Any delay in the return of equipment will affect the next awaiting member for trial.

15. What is the charges for a trial loan?
There are no charges applied to this trial loan as this is a value-added scheme provided to our FPS member. Nonetheless, in the event of mishandling, loss or damage, the FPS member will take full responsibility for the equipment loaned. And will be fully indemnify and will not hold Fujifilm Singapore accountable for any mishandling, loss or damages. In the case of mishandling, loss or damage to the loaned equipment, the FPS member agrees to pay for the full repair charges or retail price to Fujifilm Singapore.

16. What is – “Try-Before-You-Buy”?
Try-Before-You-Buy is a value-added scheme specially catered for our FPS member. You may loan for free just ONCE for every camera or lens but returnable within the same day.

17. Where can I pick up and return the equipment?
This transaction has to be physically done at our FUJIFILM Studio which is located at 3 Temasek Boulevard, #02-410 Suntec City Mall Singapore 038983. Pick up/Return of equipment are between 11.00am – 7.00pm, Mondays to Sundays. Walk-in requests will not be entertained. You must present a valid FPS member card and photo ID (eg: Passport, Driving License or NRIC) during the collection of equipment for verification purposes.

18. How can I enjoy the complimentary studio space rental service?
– There will be 2 sessions available for booking. (11.00 am to 3.00 pm) or (4:00 pm to 8.00 pm)
– FPS member can enjoy a maximum of Four (4) hours usage, and any overtime charges may apply from the stated booking time.
– FPS member will require to send in their request via email in Five (5) working days in advance, and it is subject to availability.
– A confirmation email with a declaration form will be sent upon a successful request
– A maximum in a total of Five (5) bookings can be made by each member per membership year.
Please note that lighting equipments are not provided in this rental service. 
– FPS member holds the responsibility to maintain a clean and tidy studio. Please note that there will be charges if any additional cleaning is required and also for damages of items in the studio.

19.How do I enjoy the rental discount of equipment?
You are required to show a valid FPS member card and photo ID in order to enjoy the discount. A 30% discount will be applied for FPS member and a rental service form will be submitted upon rental of equipment. Please note that equipment availability is subject to a first come first serve basis.

20. How do I enjoy the discount on courses and workshops?
– You are required to show a valid FPS member card and photo ID in order to enjoy the discount. A 20% discount will be applied for FPS member upon payment.
– This service is non-transferable and non-exchangeable to cash nor refundable.
