Overview and kit
This Photowalk is aimed at photography beginners and enthusiasts, though those that want to test out the range of equipment or enjoy a day out with our photography community are more than welcome! There is less focus on in-depth tuition and genre theory, however, you do have the opportunity to talk directly to Carol who will be able to answer your photography queries.
Wander round some of the most famous parts of Liverpool and learn to take photos from a different perspective. This walk is great for photographers who are new to the Fujifilm system, are coming back into photography after a break or who just want a gentle photographic walk. With a lot of freedom to work at your own pace, Carol will help you navigate your way around and help you produce great images.
This walk will take in some of the most iconic parts of Liverpool’s world famous Dock area, including the Albert Dock Heritage Area, the Liverpool Museum area, The Beatles statue, the Liver Building and the Three Graces before heading into the city centre Cavern area to capture the buzz and atmosphere of the city centre after dark.
You’re welcome to bring your own set-up, although a selection of the latest Fujifilm cameras and lenses will be available on the day. Photographers travelling lighter are also welcome to borrow 3LeggedThing tripods and Kase filters. Please do let us know if there is anything in particular you are wanting to try and we will try our very best to accommodate you.
If you’d prefer to have your own selected equipment, you can arrange a free, 48-hour Try Before You Buy loan in advance.
