Overview & Kit
London is a magical place during and after sunset, heaving with character, history, architecture and fun – with boundless opportunities for you to create evocative and engaging night time images. Learn essential tips for composition, exposure and focus tips and techniques in low light situations.
A selection of Fujifilm cameras and lenses will be available to try on the day, plus a small selection of 3 Legged Thing tripods and Lee filters. You’re welcome to bring your own Fujifilm set-up, including any preferred lenses, spare batteries, tripods and memory cards. ND and graduated ND filters, along with a cable release, will also come in handy.
If you’d prefer to have your own selected equipment, you can arrange a free, 48-hour Try Before You Buy loan in advance.
As the UK weather is so unpredictable, be sure to pack weather-appropriate clothing, wear comfortable shoes, and take a bottle of water and snack to keep you going.

On the Day
15:00 – Meet at the House of Photography for introductions and briefing on the route, Health and Safety and overview of locations. Quick overview of exposure settings.
16:00 – Leave House of Photography, start the Photowalk and visit some of London’s iconic locations along the river Thames.
Some of the iconic locations we may cover include; Covent Garden, Blackfriars Bridge, Southwark Bridge, The Tower of London, Tower Bridge, City Hall, The Scoop, The Shard, Clink Street, Shakesperes Globe, The Tate Modern, Millenium Bridge, OXO Tower, The Southbank, Waterloo Bridge, The London Eye

About Carl Hare
FUJIFILM Product Specialist
Carl Hare pairs creative experience with technical know-how as a freelance photographer and FUJIFILM UK Product Specialist. His photography spans many genres, and while his professional roots trace back to weddings, Carl is equally adept at studio portraiture, street photography, landscapes and wildlife.
Keen to share his wealth of knowledge, Carl has delivered photography workshops for close to a decade. His passion for the outdoors is a constant source of inspiration, and when he can combine it with his teaching skills, there’s simply nothing better – for him and his students.

Once you have purchased a ticket your place on the day will be reserved. If circumstances change and you need to cancel your place, please let us know 10 days before the event and we will be happy to issue you a refund in full. Places cancelled after this time are non refundable. You need to be at least 18 years of age in order to take part in this event and a disclaimer form will need to be completed on the day in order to take part in the day’s activity.
