Street Photography with Polly Rusyn | Women in the Industry

It is that time of year again where Wex celebrate the female photographers they work with throughout the year by hosting one action-packed day in 13 locations all around the UK at the same time. The Wex Women in the Industry series features female photographers, videographers and editors covering all genres, showcasing the incredible work that they do and taking a step forward for equality.
Polly Rusyn presents a workshop on street photography with Fujifilm showing how to best capture the streets in Norwich.
Polly will introduce her approach to shooting with tips on creating candid photographs and “working the scene”. You will then head out to the streets of Norwich where Polly will set you an assignment for the day.
The workshop will cover:
- Varied approaches to shooting on the street
- Skills needed to make candid photographs
- Visual perception and the psychology behind street photography
- This workshop is for those looking to build up their confidence on shooting street photography.
Polly Rusyn is a London based photographer and street photography educator, with a background in the travel industry. Polly freelances for a variety of clients as well as owning and operating The Photo Weekender – a company offering small group street photography weekend tours in Europe.
Her work has been exhibited and published internationally, including in National Geographic Traveller magazine (2019), she was a finalist at both the Miami Street Photography Festival (2018) and PhoS Festival in Sofia (2019), and was featured as part of the launch campaign for the Sony World Photography Awards (2019).
