Stefan Finger (Germany)

Stefan Finger ist freier Fotojournalist und arbeitet unter anderem für die Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, chrismon und den stern. Für die Abschlussarbeit seines Masterstudiums in Düsseldorf (Politische Kommunikation) forschte er zu der Wirkung von Fotografie. Er studierte anschließend Fotojournalismus an der Hochschule Hannover. Für seine Fotoreportagen wurde er unter anderem mit dem Preis „UNICEF Foto des Jahres 2014“ ausgezeichnet, war 2013 als CNN Journalist of the Year und sowohl 2014 als auch 2016 für den Medienpreis der Kindernothilfe nominiert. 2010 gründete er die Agentur für Hochzeitsfotografie „Hochzeit im Blick“. Seit 2016 hat er einen Lehrauftrag am Institute of Design in Düsseldorf. Er wird von der Agentur laif vertreten und lebt und arbeitet in Hannover und Willich. Seit 2016 ist er offizieller Fujifilm X-Photographer.

Fujifilm’s X Series cameras offer optimal size, and at-ease handling without losing quality, compared to most DSLR’s. The X Series small bodies and primary lenses make spontaneously natural photos possible, especially when those being photographed are not accustomed to being in front of a camera.
