Mário Galiano was born in 1970. He studied at the Arts School António Arroio, where he was also an assistant of one of his photo teachers. Later he attended Design and Painting at the Arts National Society. He began his career as photographer in 1990 with a special enthusiasm and dedication to the celebrities’ portrait.

Among his works, he published two photo books; one in 2010 entitled “Glamour by Mário Galiano” to celebrate his 20 years of career and the latest in 2013, “The Man Issue by Mário Galiano”, which includes photos of recognized individualities covering the different areas of the Portuguese artistic environment.
Currently, he produces an online magazine of fashion and tendencies “M My Magazine” www.mmymagazine.com. M is an online magazine targeting a consumer who enjoys to be updated on fashion, beauty, culture and leisure. Taking about his most recent work, Mário Galiano says “I like to shoot people, meet people and the intimacy and the feeling of being at ease which the camera can captures”.
