In every journey, I witness the endless beauty of ever changes in nature, people and life. Preserve these precious memories with a passionate camera, that’s all I need.
In this journey, my destination with X-Pro3 is Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai. Two top north provinces in Thailand, harmonize in hills and lives. The journey back to nature with the retro feel-film camera in the X-Pro3. I chose to shoot like a roll of FUJIFILM negative film. Because X-Pro3 gives the feeling back to the past like a time machine.
First and foremost destination in this journey, Doi Inthanon, the highest peak in Thailand. Beauty in variety but I found ‘Ang-Ka’ most attractive. It’s a circle of a nature hike with a nourishing walk in 30-60 minutes. Easy to access at first but enormous embraces from ancient trees await. Especially in the rain season, when nature could nurture you the most. The traveler then overwhelmed by the unique environment, Doi Inthanon offers.
Closer to the heart of the dark-green forest, the light was unable to reach the ground. I chose artificial lights to create attractive scenes, plus the newest film simulation ‘CLASSIC Neg.’ The details in the dark and the brilliant greenish signature of FUJIFILM then comes to life.
Hidden inside the forest, there’s a tiny hideaway place, the Pine trees of ‘Bo Kaew’. The scenery and romantic surrounding are welcome travelers.
Leaving the forest to the famous city ‘Chiang Mai’ the café capitol. In the morning, next to the Grand River ‘Mae Ping’, the warmth of light was perfect for the HDR of X-Pro3 without any post processing require.
The journey continued to ‘Doi Pa-Hee’ in Chiang Rai, the famous name but rare to reach. The local tribe, AKA, living the modest lives in their hills. Whilst their coffee beans thrill the coffee world with quality.
Lastly, with the impression of the X-Pro3, I chose the Multiple Exposure in the camera function. The combination of AKA silvery costume and the amazing scenery of their village
