Saturday 22.3, 09:00 - 14:00 • Photography of birds of prey – from pressing the shutter button to printing

The workshop focuses on the complex photographic process from the preparation and taking of photographs through their processing to the final print. Our subject will be falconry-led raptors, which provides attractive motifs for dynamic action shots and fine art portraits.
The practical part of the workshop will focus on demonstrations and practice of photography techniques. Together we will shed light on techniques and tips for capturing raptors in action and at rest, and we will also focus on camera settings and composition issues.
After the shoot, we will move on to post-production, where we will work together to edit the photos we have taken. A unique opportunity will be to work on professional Eizo monitors. A specialist from the company will guide us through the complex issue of colour management, explain its pitfalls and explain colour calibration procedures.
The final phase of the workshop will be dedicated to the basics of professional printing. We will print our finely tuned photographs on premium Fujifilm materials, completing the entire photographic process from idea to final output. Of course, you will take the printed photos home as a keepsake.
Workshop location: Toulcův dvůr, Kubatova 32/1, Hostivař, 102 00 Praha 10
Meetup at Fantova building. Transport from FUJIKINA venue included.
