ABOUT Tom
Tom Baumgaertel is a photographer and skateboarder who migrated from the beautiful Bavarian landscapes of Germany to the colorful city of Los Angeles. His street photography explores the human subject within shadows and ambient monochromatic light constellations throughout day, sunset and night-time.
Along with his images, he follows a minimalistic mindset on gear and post processing where he emphasizes on a simple camera set-up and organic straight out of camera results.
As an official Fujifilm X-Creator, Tom continues to work as a professional automotive and street photographer in the greater Los Angeles area to this day.
