Akin Acar (Turkey)

Born in Denizli in 1969. He has 2 kids and is a teacher in a public school. He has been taking photos of nature over 15 years. He first met a camera in his childhood years in a relatives’ photo studio and learned the basic information about the photography again from the same relative.
He has done photo-based visual project works “With Their Eyes, Scream, I Heard a Noise, Lost Paradise, Lifeline Water” emphasizing the importance of Nature’s little creatures in human life in and describing the damage to small creatures depending on the human factor. These works received rewards;

He received many awards including gold, silver and bronze in Nature Category in International photography competitions under FIAP, PSA and UPI patronage involving more than 50 countries.
In 2012, He’s been awarded AFIAP (Artiste FIAP) by FIAP (Fédération Internationale de l’Art Photographique: La FIAP) located in central France, in 2014 also has been awarded EFIAP (Excellence FIAP).
He is the member of Antalya Photography and Cinema Amateurs Association and Sille Art Palace.
