Born in Beppu-shi, Oita in 1947. Grew up in Moji-ku, Kitakyushu-shi, Fukuoka. Has made it her life's work to focus her photography on Peru, Belgium and Tunisia. Has held numerous exhibitions with the fruits of her work.
Held the photo exhibition, “Any way the wind blows” in September 2007 at the Fujifilm Photo Salon to commemorate her 60th birthday. At the same time, she published a photo collection of the same title.
Some of her photo collections include: “Peru and the Andes,” “Japan Nouveau: a new photo journal of Japan,” “Belgium: the beautiful kingdom,” and “Tunisia: shimmering impressions.”
