Live Preview, the large EVF allows me to preview exposure compensation, ideal for situations like this where I was on a boat and had to get the shot first time round.

11 frames per second allowed me to maximize a moment, as the pair next to it scared off this fulmar. With fast-paced action, the high frame rate allows you more opportunities to choose a picture that best encapsulates the scene.

Use of the articulating screen at 14 frames per second with the silent electronic shutter made this image far easier to produce.

Continuous autofocus – these guillemots come in very fast when they’re nest bound. The customizable autofocus kept up with this individual and was set up to ignore any distractions like the bird in the background.
