Previously termed as being "snapped" or "captured", now is referred to as being "Burgered", and no, we are not talking about anything to eat. For large parts of the German Photography, this affectionately named term stands for the usage of ring light and permanent light.
Jens Burger, born in '68, is an artist. He is bourgeois, honest, funny, musically gifted and visually distinctive. In his photographic work, this entrepreneur is first and foremost focussed on creative People-, Beauty- and Trash photography. With that being said, his favorite working area is above the waistline.
Jens is an exception to the rule, especially in his uncompromising refusal in the use of flash within his photography. This aspect has changed his career as one of the most famous permanent light photographers within the past few years. Every picture is a special eye catcher, full with color, contrast and creativity.
This Photographer & Graphic Designer lives in the lower-Saxony town of Bad Gandersheim, and in his parallel universe he is a professional Musician in the band "Monsters of Liedermaching" and "The Schröders". But one things for sure, and that is that he's not only "rocking" on stage.
Many Publications and Covers on and in relevant Magazines and Newspapers belong to his work, as well as the cooperation with the Fashion- and Beauty Industry. Since 2012 he is an official "Influencer" for the company Adobe. Since 2014 he is working as a lecturer for the "FUJIFILM-School".
Jens Burger: "A good Photo shoot should be an adventure"
I love the X cameras!
They are small, handy and the perfect companionship for a photographer who is constantly in use. They are unobtrusive and look wonderfully harmless. Especially for street shootings they are a terrific choice. The look, the noise performance, the speed, the controls - all absolutely up to date and commendable. It's great fun with an X camera to be on the road.
