A photographer of vast professional ambition, Enrique Oliver decided to dedicate himself exclusively to wedding photography, dedicating all his time to furthering his training and working solely in this profession.
He is the winner of six national photography awards: five for weddings and one for photographs based on one of his other great passions, architecture, which he draws on in his work and which has garnered him fame not only in Spain, but around the world. He has also received five nominations for the Goya Awards in photography.
Winner of the WPPI 2011 Grand Award/First Place Award (wedding category) in Las Vegas, he went on to take the title again this year, scooping the Grand Award/First Place in Architecture. This achievement makes him the only photographer in Spain and Europe to have performed so well at an international level.
These are just some of the titles that speak to his work, but there are too many to count, given his extensive curriculum and 22 years of achieving acclaim.
He currently holds workshops around Europe and further abroad, teaching photographers everything he knows about blending the two specialist areas of weddings and architecture, which have made him a reference for many.
His trips around the world with newlyweds to shoot their post-wedding photos, and even the ceremonies themselves, have earned him fame as an adventurer and an innovator determined to create his own style.
Many couples turn to Enrique for their wedding photos, the vast majority from far afield: Europe, Dubai and New York are among the destinations where he frequently works and where he regularly receives requests to display his unparalleled creativity.
