“Cheerfully frustrated pixel poet who goes through life chasing perspectives, faithful to his ideas, with a constant eye for light and shunning conformity!” This is how Peter Hawk (b. 1975) from Aschaffenburg likes to describe himself. He crossed over from another field on discovering his love of photography and since 2008 has been living his dream with his own studio, Element 54. The self-taught photographer expresses his creativity with unusual photo ideas and complex image manipulations, mostly focusing on “humanity as the object”. As a digital artist, he is frequently commissioned to perform intensive image processing and retouching. With his versatility and unusual style of image composition, he is much in demand among agencies in the advertising, music and entertainment industries.
