BIOGRAPHY

After creating the "Les Lumières du Désir" fanzine on alternative music, Grégory ROHART made his debut in photography in concerts at the age of 22. In 2005, he created his first blogs – I-Voyages and I-Trekkings – after a 6-week journey in Nepal, to share his thirst for discovery and adventure. Since then, he has been travelling the globe with his cameras, focussing on nature. In 2016, he created his third blog – My Wildlife – to indulge his passion for wildlife. As a blogger and image lover, he seeks to bear witness to the beauty of the world, inspiring Internet users and encouraging them to travel and seek out the natural world. Trekking, outdoor activities and safaris are his favourite subjects. His aim is to photograph, capture the moment and share his emotional responses.

TESTIMONIAL

I went away for 2 months with the FUJIFILM X-T2 equipped with the FUJINON XF10-24 mmF4 R OIS lens or the XF100-400mmF4.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR lens. I was heading towards Namibia and India. Hiking, discovery and safaris were part of my reportages. Before that, I had an SLR camera. I was looking for a more lightweight body with similar performance. The X-T2 is not just about being more lightweight. It features ultra-fast autofocus, an impressive and quiet burst mode, extraordinary handling mostly thanks to the grip which dramatically improves battery life and boosts the burst mode to 11 frames per second. With the X-T2 and the FUJIFILM lens range, I managed to reduce the weight of my reportage bag by about 30% while taking advantage of very effective gear.
