Profile
Born in Shimane in 1940. After Kumagai graduated from the Faculty of Law, Sophia University, he travelled to northern Europe to complete a photography course at Sweden's Royal Institute of Art. After returing to Japan be became a freelance photographer. His specializes in product photography, magazine contributor and lectures at seminars both in Japan and abroad.
