Putra Djohan begin his carrier as interior photographer that enjoyed to spend his time in music communities.

With his interaction with many musicians from 2002 until 2012, musicians and celebrities both domestically and internationally trust him to work on their cover album projects and portraitures. Many Soloists and also Bands has become his objects. Many VVIPs has also been continuously using his service as their photographer. His greatest achievement in portraiture includes taking a picture well known musicians through out the world such as Billy Sheehan from Mr Big, Scott Anderson, Nathan East and also Lee Ritenour from Fourplay. 

In 2012, Putra Djohan begin to specify his photography work in Corporate and Industrial Photography. Many multinational and international companies trust him to do their photoworks. In 2016 he went all over the world including Asia, Europe, America, Australia, and also Africa. Prudential, Kalbe Farma, Barito Pacific, National and Private Banks In Indonesia, Chandra Asri, Star Energy, Royal Golden Eagle, British American Tobacco, and United Nation Women has also been trusting him to do many projects for the last 6 years.

Since 2017, with his photography skill Putra Djohan begin videography and cinematography projects. His cinematography skill develop as his brand, Aloke Pictures which he started in 2008, continuously receiving commercial video projects.
