I am a freelance photographer based in Athens, Greece. My main areas of photographic interest involve Fashion, Portraiture as well as Dance and Performance Photography, while being a long time musician inevitably led me to Concert Photography too. I also occasionally do Street and Documentary Photography; thinking about it, I generally tend to gravitate to finding stories about people and any creative process they are involved in.
I also maintain a website and photographic blog, Eyes Unclouded Photography, which I update regularly, with articles and reviews, primarily targeted at mirrorless cameras and technologies. My blog has gathered a solid following, especially after being recommended by the influential site Mirrorlessons as one of the top ten blogs to follow in 2015.
Although I have used several DSLR cameras in the past, I have switched to mirrorless from 2011 and have been shooting with Fuji cameras from 2013, using the X-System exclusively now. Having reviewed several brands for the blog, Fuji became my definite favorite and the reasons go beyond the obvious technical merits. For me, the X-System allows me to concentrate on the substance of the photographic process, to the point where it virtually "disappears" in use. Having also experienced the Fuji "Kaizen" mentality through the years, gave me the security that my gear would be up to date for years to come; a crucial advantage for professional use.
My current and medium term future work involve conceptual editorial and portraiture projects, along with several performance photography assignments. I hope to be able to see the World through my EVF/OVF with "eyes unclouded", for years to come.
