Reiko Hagihara(Japan)

Born in Nanjo City, Okinawa Prefecture. During her school days, she wandered around the world alone with a camera in hand. She was fascinated by Japanese landscape photography. After three years of training in photography at Ishinoyu Lodge in Shiga Kogen, Nagano Prefecture, she became independent. She studied under landscape photographers such as Toshitaka Nakanishi, Shiro Hagiwara and Toshiya Hagiwara.

Currently, with the theme of "Heart of Nature", she is working mainly in Shiga Kogen, Tsumagoi, and Okinawa. She also conducts photography and photography classes, and writes. She continues to pursue the expression that "people are part of nature".
