Bob Sala (Germany)

Bob Sala is the alias of Germany based writer and photographer Marvin Kleinemeier. For the last 12 years he has been writing and taking photos for several regional and online magazines. After hundreds of local newspaper articles and two and a half unpublished novels he has been trying to capture the feel of the 60s and 70s with his photography for the last two years.

In everything I do, I am extremely fixated on design. And since my personal interests lie mainly in the culture of the 1960s and 70s, the classic design of the original X100 was immediately very appealing to me. For the last to years I have been using a X-T1 with my trusty XF35mm 1.4, about 90% of my photos was shot with this setup. While shooting I always try to setup a very intimate surrounding. The Fujifilm X cameras just seamlessly fit into the whole concept that I created with the alias „Bob Sala“. „Vintage, sexy, cool“ is something I hear people say about my photography. Same goes for my Fujifilm X cameras
