Based in Sydney Australian Photographer Michael Amendolia has twenty-seven years experience working for Australian and International magazines, newspapers and companies.
His editorial clients include Stern, Der Spiegel, GEO, Forbes, CEO Forum, The Australian Magazine and the Q Weekend,
Michael received recognition at the World Press Photo Awards
In the categories of Science and Technology, and the Environment in 1999. 2001 and 2003.
He was the principal photographer for the book "Seeing is Believing"
based on the work of one of Australian' s great humanitarian' s Professor Fred Hollows. Over the course of the last twenty years Michael has documented the progressing work of Nepalese ophthalmic visionary Dr Sanduk Ruit in Nepal, Tibet, India, Bhutan, North Korea and Indonesia.
Michael is one of four founding members of the Bi-Annual REPORTAGE festival that started in 1999 and continues to this day.
